I really hate when people leave because they see a W/Mo. They "get mad" because it supposedly "ruins" their game. But do you think they really care about how their teamates feel? NO!!!! So they are all hypocrites who should be shot.
And you cant blame Paladins for being spammed through CA, when there are clearly more people playing N/Me and R/Me. Especially R/Me that just spam distortion while chipping away at your health. Same thing with R/W with Bonetti's or Whirling Defense who just attempt to drop trap after trap at your feet.
Personally, i think the Me/W Illusionary Fighter should be shot.
Or maybe even have razorwire stuck up their tight @**h***$.
So many people play them and dont even have a clue on how they work.
When i bring a W/Mo into arena, its usually just an axe or hammer-disrupt baes build with healing and protecting allies. There is nothing wrong with that.
My guess is, when you guys were total |\|00|3s at GW you played the Pally and people laughed and totally pwn3d you and now you just getting back at them because your "big enough"
btw, someone mentioned L Eeroy J Enkins, as a verb..right? What was that supposed to mean? I fought him with my griefer build..0 against 2 other warriors and a monk. Lasted for 22:46 before i had to go.

this goes for both warriors AND rangers that focus more on not dying instead of killing the other team. warriors and rangers in pvp should be hard hitters, why focus on defensive when they will just ignore you and go after the softies leaving you with a crappy no damage, and little to no offensive skill bar. defensive IS however important to the softies who will die easily if they didnt have defensive skills, but its okay for them because (hopefully) they have skills that will shut down casters/phys attackers or kill quickly with some very strong or annoying spells.
thank you for those griefers that pay attention to my words and change their team sabotaging ways

o...well....if you were talking to me, i still run my griefer build for a laugh every now-and-then. To me, its just returning the team sabotaging ways of those who leave before the fight even starts. But that is for a whole different topic...

ya know what else you could have fun with?
Disrupt Chop; Healing Breeze; Purge Conditions; Vig Spirit; Live Vicariously; Mending; Bonetti's Defense; Healing Hands.
Just hope you have a ranger interupt on your team if you come across any Necros, Memsers, or Elementalists......

By "greifer" build do you mean one that just stays alive and takes the punishment of the other team?

Ah ok, I'd like to thank you for helping to keep Comp Arena an unviable choice for quick pvp fun in Guild Wars.

It's just something we have to live with. :P

And the other medium-near skilled people search their build on the internet, like these forums etc. So either they take a template from gw, or they take a template from the internet.. Big deal..

I'll play in Random arena if I please. Most of the time it's quite fun, but certain things are a no-no to me.

You are still a quitter. The point of RANDOM arena is that it is random - good and bad. If you don't want the RANDOMNESS (aka W/Mo) go to TEAM arena where you can select your teammates. No matter how you justify it to yourself the result is you quit because you can't hang and you left your teammates dry - including the none Wa/Mos.

Should people using the paladin build be shot?

No because having the right build does not guarantee you anything. Shooting W/Mo does not automatically increase you skill level.
Someone can give you the right receipe for the ultimate Me/x and still would not matter if your timing is off or you execute your skills incorrectly.
Stupid builds knows no borders.
I don't like W/Mo's in general either, but when I go in a winning streak in TA (random entry) with a W/Mo and a monk who does not even know what a Mo/N Booner is and beat up even with top 100 guild teams - I shut up. A win is a win. If I lose? Depends who was the weak link. If it was the W/Mo, you will get the "Mending is really not a great skill to bring" PM.

if you shoot a paladin he will just use healing hands and negate the damage

Ok, people that leave should be shot. The premade W/mo healing hands etc...yes this build sucks. A w/mo with a completely different skill setup can be effective. To those that leave when they see a W/mo...why? How do you know what build they're running? Can you see their skill bar set-up? I can't. You see a W/mo and decide...um no this won't work for me? Common people, a W/mo can be effective depending on what skills they bring in. If someone is using the premade...well they might be new, just got the game. We've all been there and had to gain faction somewhere to unlock skills, runes, mods..etc. Personally I like to PvE to unlock basic skills but that doesn't work for everyone. Be patient if you win great if you lose...try again no biggie. This is just a game after all, have fun with it At one time EVERYONE was a noob give them a break.

The other day for a laugh we took 8 paladins to tombs.....after initially struggling to beat the ghosts (the life transfer was killing us :-), we got into the underworld and actually beat someone with a flawless victory which casued much hilarity over teamspeak. Then we had to play Spanish Most Wanted and that was the end of that.....
Still, quite possibly the funniest thing I've done in GW that, flawlessing a team with paladins....
